We provide our members with one-of-a-kind experiences held in unique locations around NYC that are designed to cultivate their sense of curiosity, connection, and purpose. Half of all membership dues are placed into a Community Fund that we choose how to use towards project based initiatives aimed at improving the world around us.
As a member operated community, we make decisions and grow democratically, constantly assessing and adjusting our activities based on feedback we receive from members about how to improve or increase value.
UP Members get access to a full year of UP Membership (12 months starting from when payment is made). The first 100 members will be considered Founding Members and recognized as such in various promotional materials (unless they request otherwise).
FOUNDING MEMBER: $500 annual

Benefits include:
Member Only Programming: A curated calendar with a goal of 2-3 monthly events in year one, that include a mixture of Topical Programs, Social Gatherings, and Field Trips. Members will receive ticketing discounts to all events open to the public and/or guests.
Community Fund: 50% of all membership dues are allocated to a Community Fund that is managed by members elected from within. The rules of the fund are simple.
Members nominate projects to allocate resources towards.
Members democratically present the ideas to the community
Test and consensus build through dinners and events
Vote on committing resources to specific projects and goals.
Members will have the opportunity to fundraise and contribute additional resources to any project they wish.
Curated community of remarkable people: Continuous access to a community of NYC’s most fascinating people from across a wide array of disciplines, vetted to ensure they will go great lengths to invest in and support each other’s ideas and well-being.
Access to some of NYC’s most unique and sexiest spaces: Our programs take place in spaces many members never knew existed, never been before; from private residences, famed cultural institutions, and hidden gems.
Community Networking Resources: Members have access to the community through private online forums where they can discover/contact other members, plan meet-ups, and exchange ideas.
FOUNDING ANGEL MEMBER: $1,000+

To make this community as inclusive as possible, we believe we must represent a diversity of professions, interests, ages, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We understand that some of our most valued prospective members may not be able to afford annual dues, which is why we are giving the option for Angel Members to sponsor those in need of extra support by paying for one or more additional annual memberships. Angel members contribute $1,000 for their membership and 1 low income sponsored member + $500 for each additional sponsored member. All sponsored members will be kept anonymous. As a thank you, Angel Members will receive:

We believe that the key to maximizing impact of our community's people, ideas and projects is through strong collaborative relationships with aligned leading organizations. Representing economic diversity is of great importance to the vitality of the community. Our corporate members bring with them additional support to these sponsored members by paying for one or more additional annual memberships.
Our corporate member bundles are assessed on a case by case basis to determine how many applicants it best serves the community to take on. At this current stage, expect the number to be somewhere between 2-5. Since we are looking at the total package of applicants it is possible that the passions of employees range the gamut, allowing for ample diversity.
Benefits of membership include access to a curated community of high-caliber individuals and organizations, continuous cross discipline skill building, exposure to a broad range of emerging topics and methodologies. The value here translates to employee development, fulfillment, and resources which naturally equate to increased performance.

If you are interested in membership but cannot afford dues at this time, please complete the member application process and be sure to answer all related questions with as much detail and passion as possible. You will not be identified publicly nor will Angel Members know who it is they sponsored in order to keep everything anonymous.
